Chris Stenberg is a filmmaker, photographer, and researcher…blah, blah, blah. Why do people write their own bios in third person anyway?
My interest in photography and filmmaking opened up the world to me at an early age, and through a series of fortunate events I found a passion and career in making pictures and telling other people’s stories.
I have spent long hours in a darkroom, shot countless rolls of film, made magazine ads, shot a handful of short films on 16mm film, edited real film with scissors and tape, composited green screen images on-set for some big Hollywood productions, worked with some fancy people, and produced hundreds of short documentary videos for a wide range of brands both big and small. I have used some of the most and least expensive equipment. I have travelled the world, hung off of motorbikes and out of helicopters, shot dangling from the side of cliffs, and in many many people’s living rooms and workplaces.
Ultimately I have survived and thrived as a professional freelance filmmaker and image maker for over 15 years now, and my fascination with the people of the world continues as I spend more and more time behind the lens.
I am a photographer, filmmaker and researcher. You can find my work here and at VideoResearch.
