I was introduced to Relish by my friend and unofficial cultural attache to Victoria Simon Whitfield and have since been back on my own several times.
The Kimchi Soba Noodle Soup when available comes highly recommended by him and many others. They also serve up great java and a mean breakfast sandwich. In fact, I would hoof it from my hotel down in the harbour to eat a breakfast sandwich here rather than at a corner Starbucks — just saying.
In a town like Victoria it would be criminal to eat at a chain restaurant. The independent fare here is just too good.
Situated just outside of the downtown core on Pandora Street this is a great place to satisfy any breakfast or lunch hunger pangs you may have, but be warned they close at 2:30pm.
If you're not the type that can appreciate great food there's a McDonald's right around the corner.
